Explore Glasgow

Wondering where the highlights of Glasgow are? Here is a list of the most popular attractions and cultural sites for you to check out.

Staying active is so easy when you live in our residence because the on-site gym is fully equipped with all the machines and weights you might need. We even have an olympic weightlifting area and free group classes each week for residents. The University of Glasgow’s sport centre is also close by and includes a gym, pool and dance studio.

Our location is perfect for accessing places to eat and relax. There are over 30 different restaurants and bars just around the corner on Argyle Street with different cuisines and everything from cafes and tapas bars to restaurants and dessert places.

There’s so much natural beauty just around the residence. On one side you have the Kelvingrove Park, one of Glasgow’s oldest public parks with lots of great walkways and areas to cycle. While on the other side of the residence you have the River Clyde and the SSE Hydro arena, where a range of concerts and sporting events are hosted.

Glasgow has over 30 different historic, science and music museums to explore right across the city. There’s so much to explore in addition to the city’s incredible landscapes of mountains and riverside.

Just around the corner on Argyle Street there are buses that can take you straight to the city centre or Glasgow Central station in less than 20 minutes. If you’re studying in the University of Glasgow you’ll only be a 10-minute walk from the residence!
