Within the residence you will get FREE access to our social areas and study spaces, access to Kooth (our anonymous mental wellbeing support platform) and the chance to be a part of our award winning event and wellbeing programme.

We supply every resident with a comfortable double bed, ensuite, desk, chair and lots of storage space. Depending on your room type you may have additional furniture, kitchen appliances or storage. Please contact reception to clarify the exact details of the room type you are booking. 

You would need to bring bedding, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, pots & pans and your personal belongings. We also require proof of student status and in some residences we may need to see a passport/ID.

The Combworks is a short 30 minute commute to Robert Gordon University and 20 minute walk or 4 minute drive to The University of Aberdeen.

There are several supermarkets and convenience stores close to The Combworks, so that you don't have to go far to do your shopping. You will also find high street shops at a walking distance.

There is a lovely courtyard at The Combworks where you can meet other students, and Westburn Park - popular among skaters - is a short stroll away.

If you venture a bit further, you'll find the stunning Donmouth Local Nature Reserve and Aberdeen Beach.

There is a bus stop just outside the building, and buses 17 and 19 will bring you to the station. From there, you can get to Edinburgh in less than 3 hours and to Dundee in an hour and a half.
