What is included in my room at The Spireworks in Oxford?

We supply every resident with a comfortable double bed, ensuite, desk, chair and lots of storage space. Depending on your room type you may have additional furniture, kitchen appliances or storage. Please contact reception to clarify the exact details of the room type you are booking.

What would I need to bring with me to live at The Spireworks in Oxford?

You would need to bring bedding, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, pots & pans and your personal belongings. We also require proof of student status and in some residences we may need to see a passport/ID.

Is The Spireworks close to the universities and colleges in Oxford?

The Spireworks is at a walking distance from all Oxford universities.

Is The Spireworks close to shops in Oxford?

There is a Tesco Express right beside The Spireworks, and Lidl is a 7 minute bike ride away. Cornmarket Street, one of the most popular shopping streets in Oxford, is a 7 minute bike ride away, or 11 minutes away on the bus.

Are there green spaces in and around The Spireworks in Oxford?

There is a lovely terrace and a courtyard at the Spireworks where you can meet other students.

South Park, the largest park within Oxford, is an 8 minute walk away, and it will take you 19 minutes to get to the Water Meadow.

What are the transport links like at The Spireworks in Oxford?

Oxford station is an 11 minute bike ride away from The Spireworks (19 minutes on the bus).

There are several bus stops on Cowley Road. At the James Street East bus stop, you'll find buses going to the city centre and the station.
