Yes, you must be a student, enrolled in a college/university and be 17 years or older at check-in.

Yes, but only if you have requested to pay in instalments. Without a guarantor, you’ll be required to pay your rent in full in July.

If there are rooms available, you should be able to extend your stay after you have moved in. Please speak to the accommodation team while in the building to arrange an extension.

If you have any maintenance issues, you can simply log into the portal and select the "maintenance" option at the top. Once you've done that, then log in your issue and give as much detail as possible. 

Our friendly team are always happy to lend an ear. Before talking to them, we’d advise you contact your university support team first, since they may be able to offer you advice. If you would like to speak with the Accommodation Manager, you’re welcome to book an appointment and they’ll be happy to meet with you.

Absolutely, you’ll have your own post box in reception and will be given a key to check your post at any time of the day/night. Parcels can be delivered to reception for us to look after, just bring your ID when coming to collect them. However, please be aware of our postal policy when using this service.

All our non studio accommodation with the exception of twin rooms are only for single occupancy. We are happy to accept Dual occupancy requests for selected studios

That’s down to you – you can bring your rubbish/recycling to the bin store, and all collections are included in your rent.

The aparto team will take care of that, but please respect these living areas, as we’re proud of what we’ve done with them.

Our buildings and grounds are strictly non-smoking but you’re welcome to smoke outside of the building at least 5 metres away from doors and windows.

Yep, we want you to be as comfortable as possible when you’re with us. Just let us know you wish to live on the same floor when making your booking. If you don’t know anyone else moving to the residence, don’t worry – most students come on their own and soon make friends once they’re here.

Please refer to local COVID-19 advice. Generally your guests are welcome to come and see you throughout your studies. You can have one guest stay in your room with you 3 nights a week, but you must be present the entire time and sign them in on arrival.

You are responsible for your guest. They must be signed in/out and follow all aparto regulations while on the property.

Summer bookings
Summer bookings

As Summer stays are limited to 10 weeks, you will need to make a full payment up front, before you arrive at the residence. Your booking is not complete until payment is made and until payment is made the room is not secured. Summer stays do not require a deposit payment.

You can check into the room at 16:00 on the day of your check-in. On the day of your check-out you will have to vacate the room by 10:00. If you do arrive early for your check in, you may be able to get your keys early if the room is ready, if not you can relax in one of our communal areas until it is clean.

Our receptions are staffed 8AM to 5PM. However, if you are planning to arrive at the weekend or out of office hours it is best to either phone ahead or email first. If the reception is closed when you arrive it is most likely as the team member is helping another resident. In this case you should press the buzzer and call the security number for assistance.

Yes, you are free to leave when you like, however you will not be liable for a refund unless another student takes over your booking. Please let our team’s know when you are planning on checking out.

You will need to be a student in full time education. If you have finished University and are completing an internship of work programme you can stay in our residence if you have not yet graduated from your course.

Our rooms are not like a traditional hotel, and do not come with bedding, towels, bathroom supplies or cooking equipment, so we advise you to either bring your own or purchase in advance from our partners, UniKitOut. All rooms will come with a toilet roll.

Indeed, it will. With our standard package, you will get free high-speed WiFi connection throughout the property, including bedrooms that have a wired connection. You can connect up to 3 devices, so it's perfect for browsing Instagram, watching your favourite Netflix series and studying of course!.

The Internet is provided by our reliable partner, Ask4 and they give you the option to upgrade your package for a small fee if you need extra speed for those gaming nights.

The property’s communal lounge area has a TV, but our rooms aren’t furnished with one. However, feel free to bring your own, just be sure your TV Licence is sorted beforehand.

The laundry service is super easy to use! Download the Circuit Laundry app and head down to the Laundry Room. All the instructions you need will be there to fully utilise the service.

Absolutely! We want you to be as comfortable as possible, so turn your room into a space you love to live in. Just make sure its returned to us the way you found it upon checkout. If not, damage charges will apply.

We prefer to receive rent in four instalments throughout the year. Our instalment dates are aligned with the University term if you are receiving student loan support or a scholarship.

41 Week Contracts
41 Week Contracts

Our 41-week contracts ensure there is an option for students who only require accommodation during term time. Our 51-week contracts offer a full calendar year of accommodation.

You can keep your 51-week booking with us if that is your preference. However, if you booked with us after 19th July 2024, please get in touch with us to confirm your preference.

If you are in any doubt or would like to discuss your options, please get in touch.

The deadline for requesting a switch will be communicated via email, which is typically a minimum of 30 days advanced notice. Please ensure you submit your request by the specified date to facilitate a smooth transition.

The 41-week contract aligns with some college’s academic years, covering the main teaching periods and excluding the summer months. If you are unsure over the right length of stay for you, please contact us and we will happily talk you through the options available.

If you find that you need accommodation for longer than 41 weeks at any point in your stay, you can request an extension. We will do our best to accommodate you depending on availability. To enquire about extending your stay, please contact your accommodation reception.

In most cases, you will not need to move rooms. However, if a room change is necessary, we will notify you well in advance and assist with the transition.

Yes, the overall cost will be adjusted to reflect the shorter duration of the contract.

If you switch to a 41-week contract, your payments will be adjusted accordingly to Irish legislation. Any overpayments for the original 51-week contract will be refunded.

Yes, if you switch from a 51-week to a 41-week contract, any overpaid rent will be credited or refunded to you.

The new contracts are set up for monthly payments, but if you prefer to pay larger amounts or pay off your rent in full, please contact our accommodation office to discuss your options.
