Like everything else, Halloween this year looked a little different. But that didn’t stop us from pulling out all the stops with our spooky decorations across sites and running a range of virtual and socially distanced in person events (where the tier system allowed us!) to keep our residents entertained.

Pumpkin carving

Pumpkins

A Halloween classic! Residents got creative with their designs and all had a chance to win prizes in our pumpkin carving competition.

Spooky cinema

We had a special spooky film night in Reading (socially distanced) where residents voted for their favourite scary film.

Halloween make up

Our spooky makeup tutorial was run by makeup artist Anne Morrissey and some lucky residents were provided with all the tools they needed to create a scary Halloween look.

Halloween virtual party

Residents from across the UK and Dublin dressed up and logged in to our virtual party with DJ Steve Copper. Song requests at the ready and prizes to be won, this was a great way to round up our Halloween events!

We run regular and varied events covering wellbeing, cooking and crafts and networking. Check out our cocktail workshop blog to get a flavour of what else we do!

We love seeing our residents get involved in our events and student experience is a huge part of what we do. Find out how you can be part of it too by joining our student community at one of our many residences.
