With university just around the corner, there is so much to look forward to. From meeting new people to exploring a new and exciting city. If you’re pondering on your student accommodation options, then look no further than Queens Court – a vibrant and modern place to call home and located right in the city centre.

What makes Queens Court special?

As soon as you enter the residence you feel that welcoming atmosphere. When you join Queens Court you truly become part of the family and the incredible team are always on hand to answer any questions, or there to have a chat over a cup of tea. Our mental wellbeing support with our partner Kooth allows all residents access to a supportive online service. We also have an onsite pet dog called Aria! She is usually found chilling by reception and loves meeting new students.

What amenities are there?

Queens Court reflects modern and stylish student accommodation. There are tons of social and study spaces to use including:

  • Games area with table tennis and pool table
  • Cinema room
  • Party room with a kitchen (you can book this out for you and your friends)
  • Large social areas with comfy seating
  • Study areas (you can book these out for individual or group work)
  • Gym and exercise studio

Take a look at our virtual tour video to find out more.

What room types can I choose?

There are a range of modern rooms you can pick from ensuites, studios and 1 – 4 bed penthouses. All come with plenty of storage and study space.

What is the location like?

Right at the heart of Reading, Queens Court is in a prime location. Commutes to lectures are a leisurely 15-minute bus journey, while its city centre is just a 5-minute walk, so all manner of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars are never far away.

Studying at UWL? The Reading campus is only a minutes’ walk away, directly opposite Queens Court! The easiest commit to lectures and a longer lie-in.

What are the top things to do in the city?

Reading is a town seeped in history and home to a vibrant student community. There is tons to keep you entertained, from riverside restaurants covering all cuisines to trendy clubs and the annual Reading Music Festival if you want to check out the latest talent.

Check out our Reading city guide for the top restaurants, bars, culture, and green spaces that will keep you busy.

At aparto, we also run regular events curated by input from our residents! Some of the highlights include cocktail classes, cooking sessions, yoga and food trucks. Check out the action on our Instagram or Facebook page.
