Refer a Friend Scheme Terms & Conditions

What the Referral Scheme offers

  1. The Refer a Friend scheme allows any current or future aparto resident to sign up to the scheme so that they can refer another student to live in one of our aparto residences.

  2. The Scheme, if the ‘Eligibility criteria’ is satisfied entitles both the Referrer and the Referred student to a £200 or €200 shopping voucher from One4all.

  3. The Refer a Friend offer is valid for all bookings at one of our UK residences, made and accepted between 29th November 2023 and 1st September 2024 -OR-The Refer a Friend offer is valid for all bookings at one of our Irish residences, made and accepted between 5th February 2024 and 1st September 2024.

  4. The Scheme is open to any student who currently lives or has an accepted booking for 2024-25 at any of the aparto residences in the UK and Ireland.

  5. To sign up to the Scheme, students need to email their relevant aparto residence team to request their unique referral code. Each new participant can share their referral code with their friends so that they can be eligible by adding the code to their online booking form.

 

 

Eligibility criteria

  1. Participating residences
    For an accommodation booking to be eligible for the Scheme offer, the Referred student must book any room type at an aparto residence for a minimum of 41 weeks for the 2024-25 academic year.


  2. Referrer
    To qualify for this incentive the Referrer must:

    1. Ensure that the referred student has made an accepted booking between 29th November 2023 and 1st September 2024 at any of the aparto UK residences. -OR- Ensure that the referred student has made an accepted booking between 5th February 2024 and 1st September 2024 at any of the aparto Ireland residences.

    2. All bookings must be for a minimum of 41 weeks and be for the 2024-25 academic year;

    3. Provide their unique referral code to the referred student, and ensure that it is included in the referred student’s booking for 2024-25 academic year;

    4. Currently a resident of an aparto residence, or have made an accepted booking at one of the aparto residences for the 2024-25 academic year;

    5. Ensure that the referred student has checked in to one of the participating aparto residences for their 2024-25 booking and made their first rent instalment before 30th September 2024.

 

 c. Referred student

         To qualify for this incentive the Referred student must:

    1. Not be an existing or former resident at a participating aparto residence, or already have made an existing booking request in respect of the 2024-25 academic year;

    2. Book their room at one of the aparto UK residences participating in the Scheme between the 29th November 2023 and 1st September 2024 for the 2024-25 academic year and for a minimum of 41 weeks -OR- Book their room at one of the aparto Ireland residences participating in the scheme between the 5th February 2024 and 1st September 2024 for the 2024-25 academic year and for a minimum of 41 weeks.

    3. Have had their booking accepted by one of the participating aparto residences;

    4. Must include the referred student’s unique referral code within their online booking form at the point of making their booking. Subsequent provision of unique referral codes will not be accepted and will not entitle either the Referred student or the Referrer to the Scheme offer.

 

 

How to claim a voucher

  1. The Referred student needs to have first checked in to one of the participating aparto residences for their 2024-25 booking and made their first rent instalment. Both to be completed before 30th September 2024, in order for the offer of the £200/ €200 voucher to be redeemed by either the referrer or referred student

  2. Once the Accommodation Manager at the participating aparto residence has verified that all of the terms and conditions of the Scheme have been fulfilled, then the vouchers will be issued to both the referrer and the referred student within 40 working days of the Referred student checking in to the participating aparto residence and making their first rent payment in accordance with these terms and conditions.

     

 

Other important terms

  1. The Scheme is available for a limited number of bookings and can be withdrawn, suspended or modified at the absolute discretion of the aparto student business at any time.

  2. While the Scheme is in place, the Scheme participants are able to refer an unlimited number of students

  3. aparto student’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Scheme will be final, and no correspondence will be entered in to

  4. The referred student acknowledges that any booking made then in respect of a participating aparto residence is not made in reliance on the availability of the Scheme, and the availability or receipt of a voucher is not a condition of any tenancy agreement in respect of the participating aparto residence

  5. Any Referrers and referred students shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions by virtue of their participation in the Scheme.

     

 

GDPR

  1. By entering your code into the aparto portal for the purpose of this Scheme, and under the terms of our privacy policy, you are giving consent for aparto to share your personal data with the voucher supplying company for the sole purpose of issuing your e-voucher. Consent can be withdrawn by emailing us.

  2. The personal data shared will be a. the customer first name, and b. the customer email address.
